I have always found talking with fellow Creatives about their work inspiring and encouraging. Near the end of 2020, I decided to take this hobby to the next level and begin a project I call Chats with Creatives. This is a monthly blog of interviews in which Creative folks share their stories, inspirations, and current projects.
Chats with Creatives seeks to:
- Exemplify the breadth of “Creativity” by highlighting Creative folks active in various fields & disciplines
- Explore the intersection of Identity and Creativity
- Connect you to Creative Excellence you can support and celebrate
Each month, in the middle of the month (a little halfway-through pick-me-up!), a new chat will be posted to this blog reel. We’ll be discussing questions like:
- How do you define Creativity?
- What element(s) of your identity is most influential to your creative practice?
- What does your creative practice teach you about life? about yourself?
- And more!
Our January (and first ever!) Creative to be featured is a dear friend of mine named Megan. She’s an entrepreneur, baker, and big dreamer. I look forward to sharing our conversation with you and hope you’ll be inspired as I have been.
In the coming months, I hope to feature fellow Creatives who do all sorts of things, such as digital art, character design, bookmaking, music, YouTubing, film, and more!
